Position summary:
Just Results is seeking a Data Analyst passionate about social impact to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in processing, analyzing, and visualizing data into actionable insights to support program evaluations and other economic assessments that promote economic empowerment and sustainability. This position requires strong technical expertise, the ability to interpret complex data, and a commitment to using data insights to drive positive outcomes. The Data Analyst will collaborate with our global team of consultants and work on projects in different sectors,
including agriculture, finance, software development, and simplification and digitization of government services.

Key responsibilities:
● Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to support program evaluations, impact assessments, and economic studies.
● Conduct statistical analysis, including regression analysis and hypothesis testing, to generate insights when applicable.
● Collaborate with consultants and project teams to design sampling strategies and ensure data quality.
● Develop data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings to clients, stakeholders, and partners.
● Translate complex datasets into actionable insights that inform decision-making and program improvements.
● Ensure data integrity and apply ethical data management practices, particularly when dealing with sensitive information.
● Assist in designing and implementing quasi-experimental evaluations, including control group selection and comparison studies.
● Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data analysis into broader project deliverables and strategic recommendations.
● Stay current with data analysis trends and innovative methodologies.

Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Public Policy, or a related field.
● 1- 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the international development sector or related fields.
● Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Stata, SPSS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
● Experience with program evaluations and impact assessments, including the use of quasi-experimental methods.
● Strong understanding of sampling strategies and statistical analysis.
● Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and derive meaningful insights.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse audiences.
● Familiarity with development sector data, especially related to agriculture, economic development, or international finance.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other languages (e.g., Spanish, French, Portuguese, Arabic) is highly desirable.

Preferred skills:
● Experience working with international development organizations or governments.
● Experience working in diverse, multicultural teams and adapting to cross-cultural contexts.
● Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
