Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Project Coordinator II for the for the Voorhees Transportation Center at Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy.

Among the key duties of the position are the following:

  • Assists with grant-related activities at the center.
  • Assists Principal Investigators (PIs) with daily research and business processes associated with sponsored projects and center activities as well as the logistics and implementation of project-related meetings and events such as trainings, workshops, focus groups, advisory committee meetings, and conferences.
  • Assists with meeting/event invitations and registration processes, promotion and marketing through website and other electronic media.
  • Monitors expenditures within budget constraints; coordinating event logistics for both online and in-person meetings.
  • Oversees administrative compliance with project-related time-keeping, expense reporting, and procurement.
  • Coordinates the hiring and on boarding of student research assistants.
  • Ensures that all Rutgers protocols are maintained including risk management, emergency procedures, insurance, etc.
  • Functions as a data custodian for human subjects research participants.
