Overview
The Education and Employment Research Center at the School of Management and Labor Relations at Rutgers University seeks a summer research assistant for work on an education and workforce development research project. This researcher would help gather data to support an ongoing research study. The position is ideal for students with background and/or interest in:
•Research in social science
•Database management
•Interactions with management and human resources professionals
•Cold calling and sales
Multiple positions available
20+ hours per week (minimum hours required) Salary commensurate with experience

Responsibilities include:
•Follow a scripted process to cold call a targeted list of companies to collect specific data.
•Meticulously maintain records.
•Communicate problems or issues with project management as they arise.
•Work in-person on Livingston campus 3+ days per week for the next 3 months (possibility for continued work this fall
Qualifications:
•Current Rutgers student capable of working during the summer
•Demonstration of strong verbal communications skills
•Experience working Microsoft Office products. Specific experience with Microsoft Excel.
