Required: Demonstrated technical skills plus a degree, or progress towards a degree, in Planning, Public Policy, or Health Administration
Part-time IT student employment at $20.50 per hour for the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy. A degree, or progress towards a degree, in Planning, Public Policy, or Health Administration is required. Minimum of ten to maximum of twenty hours per week during Spring and Fall semesters. Summer hours available if interested, especially during July and early August.
Provides technical support service for classroom users at the Civic Square Building in New Brunswick, NJ.
Provides online accessibility compliance assistance to faculty of the Bloustein School, primarily through the Canvas learning management system.
Desired candidate will possess a background and keen interest in technology and the programs offered at the Bloustein School, while also possessing good communication skills, ability to follow directions carefully, and confidence to work independently on assigned tasks.
Successful candidate must demonstrate familiarity with software such as Acrobat Pro, PowerPoint, and Word, including their accessibility features.
Experience with Ally Course Accessibility tool, captioning/subtitling, and Zoom moderation is highly preferred.
Customer service skills and professionalism are required, as this position will interact directly with community members and stakeholders of our organization.
May be assigned other duties based on department’s needs and individual’s skills/interests.
Target start date of Jan 05 2025, but must start no later than Feb 02 2025.
