About Institute for Health, Health Care Policy and Aging Research - Center for Asian Health Promotion and Equity

Rutgers-NYU CAHPE is an interdisciplinary collaborative institute consisting of faculty, research staff, and early and new investigators and their research and community mentors. Since it was established in 2021 with core funding from the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD), CAHPE is becoming one of the nation’s premier research centers focused on critically important health and wellness of Asian American individuals and communities in New Jersey/New York and beyond through promoting and supporting high quality and enduring inter-disciplinary research among Asian adults.
