The Office of Institutional Research and Academic Planning (OIRAP) and the Center for Research on Ending Violence (REV) is looking to hire a Rutgers graduate student to help with a survey research project that is expected to start in July 2022 and last through January 2023.
A university-wide campus climate survey will be conducted in Fall 2022 to assess faculty and staff’s experiences of sexual harassment and workplace mistreatment, employee willingness to intervene/participate in prevention efforts, and awareness of campus–based resources regarding sexual harassment. The data collected will be used to establish campus baseline information and inform administrative efforts to prevent and address these issues across all of its campuses.
The project involves programming the survey into Qualtrics and assisting OIRAP with the survey administration. The ideal candidate is someone who is interested in research and assessment, particularly with surveys in higher education. Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and confidentiality with highly sensitive data is a must.
Preferred skills include familiarity with Qualtrics.
Compensation is $20/hour with an expected commitment of 5–10 hours per week depending on workload.
