The Civic Digital Fellowship and Civic Innovation Corps are 10-week internship opportunities for early-career technologists to explore careers in public service.
We launched the Civic Digital Fellowship in 2017. Since then, over 400 Civic Digital Fellows have served at 12 federal agencies, including the U.S. Census Bureau, the National Institutes of Health, and the General Services Administration.
Recognizing the importance of serving all levels of government, we expanded the program to state and local governments in 2021 with the Civic Innovation Corps. Over 100 Civic Innovation Corps Fellows have served at host offices in 16 cities, 3 counties, and 4 states.
You can learn more about our Fellows’ work on GitHub.
We’re working on big updates to our programs. Applications will open on January 4, 2023.
