Overview
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, integrating, and analyzing data from multiple internal and external sources to drive data-informed decision making across the organization. The Data Analyst position will be responsible for supporting the creation of a comprehensive approach to analyzing the various data sets that AHA collects and maintains. Using data visualization software, this position will create a series of analytic approaches and tools for tracking process and outcome measures across all programs of our organization. The Data Analyst will work with the AHA leadership team to guide our decision making and better tell our story. This position is hybrid/remote.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

Collaborate in creating and/or strengthening various databases and systems for data collection, management, reporting, and analysis

Create and maintain internal and external dashboards for all of AHA’s programs

Send out timely Quality Assurance assessments as outlined by the leadership team for all programs

Assist with the compilation and submission of quarterly data and reports for NeighborWorks and other funders

Partner in the design and creation of dashboards, other reports and data visualization tools

Analyze program performance against benchmarks as well as trends within all departments

Advise the agency on technology and reporting needs to maximize efficiency and support a culture of using data as a management tool

Participate in compiling data for the Annual Report with support of Marketing and Event Coordinator

Support the development of a series of issue/research briefs as well as any ongoing or new research partnerships and initiatives

Work together with CEO, COO and Senior leadership team in compiling agency strategic plan as well as reporting on progress

All other duties as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred with a minimum of two 2 years of related experience

Demonstrated knowledge and skill in data analysis, development of statistical reports and data visualization

Experience using Microsoft Power Bi, Tableau or other similar software

Experience with in Microsoft Office Suite; in particulate Excel

Familiarity with Google Workspace (Mail, Calendar, Drive, Chat, Meet)

Working knowledge of affordable housing and/or social service sector with a willingness to learn

Passion for using data to drive positive social impact.

Track record of strong analytic, problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Experience with systems administration, and/or operations and process improvement.
