About the Governor’s Policy Office:

The Policy Office, led by the Chief Policy Advisor, develops the Governor’s policy initiatives in coordination with the Cabinet. It is composed of specific offices – the Office of Health Care Affordability and Transparency, the Office of Climate Action and the Green Economy, and the Office of Equity – as well as the Cabinet Secretary, Director of Federal Affairs, and policy advisors with expertise on the subject areas within their portfolios, all of whom are assisted by policy coordinators and analysts who provide logistical and research support as they liaise across each of the State’s Departments. Interns will gain a unique understanding about each of these policy areas, how they intersect, and how the Governor’s Office coordinates across executive agencies, the Legislature, and stakeholders on policy matters.
