Overview

Reports to: Mid-Atlantic Funding Navigator Manager

EPIC’s Funding Navigator team works for small and under-resourced communities on short-term project
management and technical assistance, driving access to capital for safer water, wastewater, and stormwater
systems. Through localized capacity support and financing, we help our partners identify and develop capital
projects, meet regulatory requirements, and apply for and secure public funds to improve infrastructure. We
believe these projects are critical to public health, and to the advancement of resilient economies. We use a
clear step-by-step process to navigate the road to funding access, but build the program nuances in response to
the specific challenges of our community partners. Each needs-based technical assistance engagement is tailored
to include steps whose outputs will serve community governance, processes, and infrastructural outcomes in
both the immediate and long terms.
