Overview

One of our alumni is looking to hire 1 or 2 GIS Analysts to help his team with market research and preparing maps for their North Jersey markets.

Tasks will include:
  • Produce high-quality map-based deliverables leveraging ESRI suite. Uses third party, non-traditional mapping platforms (e. g. Adobe Creative Suite) to produce best-in-class aesthetic deliverables.
  • Obtain and maintain accurate market data as it relates to current market trends and zoning/redevelopment plans.
  • Consult with other associates to define project requirements, determine project scope, and align on deliverables for the rest of the development team.
  • Log and prioritize work assignments using the company’s proprietary web-based map ordering and workflow management system.
  • Maintain map library of commonly used maps and deliverables for dedicated regions, mostly in North Jersey.
  • Serve as the internal Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for a particular team or market, with oversight from Managing Director (myself).
  • May maintain, update, and interact with databases containing geospatial data from multiple sources for commercial real estate analysis.
  • May archive, catalog, and annotate datasets according to department standards to build a common library of materials for use by GIS team.
  • May assist the Analysts/Specialists to determine the definitions of fields for extraction and the organization and storage of input data.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
They would like to create monthly market reports, using this data, where analyst(s) will get a significant amount of exposure in the field with the work they produce.  In addition to this being a paid position, the GIS Analyst’s work will be promoted throughout the B6 Real Estate community.
