Overview

The Department of Human Ecology at Rutgers-SEBS is hiring two graduate students for Summer 2022 (35 hours per week for 15 weeks) and the 2022-2023 academic year (10-15 hours per week). Students who can commit only to Summer 2022 will be considered but students who can commit from May 2022 through May 2023 will be preferred.

Project Description: This project involves acquisition of data from a wide variety of governmental entities (federal to municipal) regarding expenditures made during the period of 2014-2022 for protection and restoration of water resources in the Delaware River Basin. It builds on a completed project that focused on the period of 2014-2019, by adding new expenditure categories and previously undiscovered data for that period, and then extending the database for the years 2020-2022.

Position Responsibilities: Working with a project principal investigator, the graduate students will contact governmental entities that may have made relevant expenditures during the target period, verify the existence of available data, acquire data, and assist with the processing of data for input to the project database. Students may also assist with an interview and survey process.

Compensation: These positions pay $20 per hour.

Contact: Interested students should provide resumes and a short statement of capabilities in outreach and data management to the project co-PI:
