Overview

PLANNER – Leon S. Avakian, Inc. – Planning Department 

Leon S. Avakian, Inc. (LSA) seeks a highly motivated individual to fill an entry-level Planning position in the Neptune, NJ office. Specific tasks include planning and zoning board reviews, preparation of master plans, preparation of redevelopment plans, drafting zoning ordinances, and the preparation of affordable housing plans for the firm’s municipal clients.  Ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills; some practical experience using Geographic Information Systems is a plus.  Masters degree in City and Regional Planning preferred.
