Overview
The Middlesex County Office of Planning is seeking qualified interns to assist with geographic information system (“GIS”) data development in support of collaborative planning initiatives of the Office of Planning.
Interns would primarily be responsible for geographic data digitization, tabular data entry, and cartography using ArcGIS desktop software. Tasks will include updates and enhancements of a variety of GIS datasets as they are developed and maintained by GIS staff of the Office of Planning. Other related administrative tasks may be assigned as needed. Demonstrated experience using ArcGIS 10.5 or higher is required and a familiarity with integrating MS Access and MS Excel is preferred.
