Job Title: DCA Housing Intern, Summer
- 35 hours per week/7 hours per day (except NJ state holidays/closings)
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (1-hour lunch break)
- $25.00 per hour
Number of Open Positions: 3
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university degree program
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- Basic job readiness
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency; esp. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability and willingness to learn and develop new skills
Description:
Through project-based assignments, the DCA Housing Intern supports the Neighborhood Programs unit while gaining knowledge of the administration of community development grant programs: Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit (NRTC), Neighborhood Preservation (NPP), and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG).
Duties include:
- Report Compilation (e.g., Collect, analyze, organize, and compile data and images for program reports.
- File Management (e.g., Organize and update existing SharePoint files, create new files and folders.)
- General Office Tasks (e.g., scan and copy documents, refill copier paper tray)
- Other duties as assigned.
