PLANNING SPECIALIST/LAND USE PROGRAMS (Hybrid) – The NJ Pinelands Commission, an independent state agency with regulatory jurisdiction over the million-acre Pinelands Area, is accepting applications for the position of Planning Specialist in the Land Use Programs office. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in land use planning or resource management or a closely related field, at least one year of related experience, and good verbal and written communication skills. The position will support a wide array of projects in the Commission’s Land Use Programs Office. Duties may include municipal planning and conformance review, land preservation, and application of resource science to land use planning issues or site development. Master’s degree or NJ PP license a plus. Starting salary range $60,000 – $80,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
