Overview
We accept internship applications on a rolling basis for Fall, Spring, and Summer. Start and end dates of these seasons are subject to a candidate’s availability but are generally: September-December, January-April, May-August.
Policy Interns: Policy interns support the Center’s programmatic work in Climate Justice, Public Protections, or Responsive Government to strengthen regulatory safeguards and advance progressive policies for public health and safety, clean energy, and environmental justice. Policy internship duties include, but are not limited to, policy, legal, and/or public health research and writing; webinar and other event planning; and blogging. Applicants must have completed or be in the process of completing an advanced degree in law, public policy, public health, or a related field.
Communications Interns: Communications interns will support the Center’s efforts to amplify our work and bring our messages to a broader audience. Communications internship duties include, but are not limited to, tracking current events relevant to our work; developing digital assets including posts, graphics, and videos; and writing content for our blog and website. Applicants must have completed or are in the process of completing an undergraduate or advanced degree in communications, public relations, or a related field.

Because we operate as a virtual office, all internships are remote and we welcome candidates from across the United States. All Center for Progressive Reform internships are paid a rate of $20/hour.
