Project Manager

Restrepo & Associates is a well-respected real estate development and consulting firm focused on affordable housing and redevelopment. We specialize in identifying private or publicly owned property and securing local, county, state, and federal subsidy investments to develop it. We manage the process from beginning to end, including securing private capital for seed, acquisition, predevelopment, construction, and permanent financing needs. Our clients include non-profit and for-profit community development-driven organizations across the State of New Jersey. We are also developing several projects in-house. The job responsibilities include:

·        Identify sites for development in target market.

·        Make offers on properties and secure site control.

·        Conduct due diligence and close on property.

·        Complete predevelopment work with team of several professionals to move the project to construction start.

·        Apply for and close seed, predevelopment, construction, and permanent financing.

·        Manage a team of professionals to meet deadlines.

·        Create and manage proformas for development projects.

·        Secure zoning and permit approvals

·        Interact with clients and public officials.

The ideal candidate for this position must be interested in entering the real estate development field. In this role, they will be taught how to manage projects from beginning to end with a team of professionals with over 25 years of experience in affordable housing development. This position presents an opportunity for full time employment during the summer and after graduation. Qualifications:

·        Pursuing a master’s degree with a focus on Real Estate, Finance or Development

·        Must be confident, adaptive person, initiative-taker, organized and meticulous.

·        Must be able to manage a challenging environment and manage others to meet goals.

·        Experience in financial and market analysis a plus.

·        Proficiency in Excel, MS products

·        Strong verbal and written communication skills

·        Strong organizational skills

This position will require 20-25 hours per week during semesters with full-time employment during the summer. The position will be hybrid. Compensation will be $25 hourly with opportunities for bonuses and raises based on performance. Other benefits include five sick days and five vacation days during the year.
