About the role

The company seeks a Research Analyst to specialize in the rapidly evolving industrial sector with a focus on major logistics hub markets across North America. The successful candidate will support all aspects of warehouse property research from data collection to market analysis, production of reports, and beyond. This position presents an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to learn the industry and make valuable connections for future advancement. There is flexibility in working location within the U.S., aligning to a major Savills office location in the Eastern or Central time zone.

Specific responsibilities include:

Support Head of Industrial Research by compiling and visualizing real estate, economic and demographic data for thought leadership and client-facing presentations.
Respond to ad hoc requests for market intelligence from Industrial Services professionals.
Take ownership of tracking and analyzing assigned industrial hub markets, contributing to the production of quarterly market statistics and reports.
Provide regular updates to, and maintenance of, proprietary market information databases, including asking rental rates, construction pipeline, lease comparables and other key data points
Develop strong rapport with Savills research counterparts across North America to exchange best practices and market moving data

Experience/Education/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record (All majors encouraged to apply, especially real estate, economics, urban planning, geography, social science, journalism and business majors)
Previous commercial real estate experience a plus
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
Experience with data entry and database management
Ability to identify trends and develop industry reports
Superior skills in Excel and PowerPoint -Tableau experience a plus
