Help shape mobility in South Jersey. As a Transportation Planning Intern at the South Jersey Transportation Planning Organization (SJTPO), you’ll support real-world planning work, from safety and trails to human services transportation and freight movement, while working alongside planners and engineers in the profession.
This paid, in-person summer internship offers hands-on experience at a Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO). You’ll support regional transportation planning efforts and gain exposure to multiple program areas, including Complete Streets and safety, capital programming, and public engagement. What You’ll Do
- Assist with regional, multimodal, and safety planning initiatives
- Support Complete Streets and trail planning efforts
- Contribute to transportation project development and funding programs
- Help create short, narrated videos for public outreach
