Overview
The Department of Human Ecology at Rutgers-SEBS is hiring two graduate students (10-20 hours per week). The project expects to conclude in the Spring 2023 semester.
Project Description: This project involves acquisition of data from a wide variety of governmental entities (federal to municipal) regarding expenditures made during the period of 2014-2022 for protection and restoration of water resources in the Delaware River Basin. It builds on a completed project that focused on the period of 2014-2019, by adding new expenditure categories and previously undiscovered data for that period, and then extending the database for the years 2020-2022.
Position Responsibilities: One student will work with a project principal investigator to contact governmental entities that may have made relevant expenditures during the target period, verify the existence of available data, acquire data, and assist with the processing of data for input to the project database. One student will work with a PI to develop GIS analyses regarding the geographic and demographic equity of the identified expenditures.
Compensation: These positions pay $20 per hour.
