Student Assistant Position at the National Transit Institute

The National Transit Institute (NTI) at Rutgers University is seeking a student assistant to support administrative, communications, and technical tasks over the summer, with potential to continue into the academic year. The position may be full-time or part-time depending on availability and budget.
Activities may include, but are not limited to:
· Preparing course rosters and certificates
· Assisting with scheduling and instructor coordination
· Maintaining course materials across platforms
· Supporting virtual or in-person course deliveries and webinars
· Drafting content for social media
· Updating NTI’s website using WordPress and basic HTML
· Assisting with internal reports, light research, or data entry
· Required skills:
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work independently
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Zoom, and cloud-based systems such as Box and OneDrive
· Preferred skills:
· Familiarity with WordPress, social media, and basic HTML
· Interest in public transportation, workforce development, or continuing education
