The Center for Health, Identity, Behavior, and Prevention Studies (CHIBPS)  at the Rutgers School of Public Health – Newark Campus, is seeking undergraduate and graduate summer interns. We are looking to engage students of diverse educational backgrounds and disciplines, race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, life experiences, among other dimensions of diversity.

Our research center focuses on the study of sexual behavior, substance use and abuse, mental health, cancer, and healthcare access among racially and ethnically diverse sexual and gender minority populations, including people living with HIV.

Interns will gain experience on population research design, data collection, and data analysis, qualitative analysis, while also conducting assessments with our study participants, and participating in community-engaged recruitment efforts for ongoing research studies.
